Hello this is my first blog entry for term 2.
Room 2 this week has been learning the days of the week . Soon Harold will be coming to see room 2. Room 2 are learning about different things like day and night also seasons . Time is also important so room 2 is learning about it. On the 22 of May they are going to Nga Mana. How cool.

This week in room 2 they have been learning my favourite letter and that is ‘s’. They have also been learning how to use there finger spaces correctly and to make work cooler.Room 2 has also been learning the ending word “at”. (example)(cat bat flat) And in their numbers they have been learning names of 10. That’s it from me till term 2 so see you then.

In room 2 they have been doing some wonderful things like eating amazing pizza last Thursday and it was heaven but hells pizza. And don’t forget St. Pats day when the whole school dressed up in GREEN! They also had a lot of fun laughing and clapping. In term 2 they are going to play around in Na Mano and hopefully learn a thing or to. They also like learning about aliens evading earth just jokes they are now learning about factions starting with how to read and write them.
Room 2 has been doing heaps of fantastic paintings of cool goldfish in a bowl. For buddy class they get 2 people to read with them and they also have lots of fun while there in room 9. Heaps of room 2 are entering the x factor and everyone wants to dance to no song?Most of them want to dance on a trampoline. Every Friday they have to write down as many words as possible before time runs out!they think if they behave they get to watch a movie. How cool!
Room has been drawing mad crocodiles with heaps of die and paint and they have also been learning the alphabet and know they know the abc.They have made these fantastic spiders that are painted and hung by a piece of thread. They love playing with this soft, fat, big monkey that is very hairy. On the back field that is so much like stuck in the mud but is called candle.

Room 2 has been doing heaps of pattens with beads. They have been reading cool books like Miss Wishy Woshy. They love playing games on the backfield playing mad games like duck duck goose. They have also been telling what they did in the weekend to the class. They also like putting together puzzles then tipping them and doing it again. They are studying the letter w. Room 2 has also been painting spiders with their mad skills.

Room 2 has been mixing colours in there class room. They also went to the school picnic last Friday. When they went to the picnic they played lots of fantastic games that are fun and hard to play on the back field. In their class they like playing with the dies and also paint. Room 2 had a photo taken and they stuck it onto a card that they gave to there parents. How cute. They also liked hopping and running around the tennis court.
In room 2 they have been reading a book called Battle of the mountains and have been doing work about it. Room 2 are going to Te Papa soon on a bus into Wellington. The kids in room 2 made pictures of the snow and wrote a little sentence under it. They have been going to the gym in the hall. They drew pictures of gingerbread for maths and they have put the on the wall.

Recently, the junior syndicate got a new sandpit. They have played in it and it’s amazing! A special thanks to the PTA for fundraising the money for us! And I hope the junior syndicate enjoy their new sandpit!!
